hi all, for my first WCing project i have decided to go with Eheim 1250 and Critcool PowerPlant relay, rev 2.0 for the pump setup.. while reading here and there i found out that you have to mod the Eheim 1250's power cable to make it work with the Criticool powerplant PCI relay card.. can somebody explain OR show me review/article where this has been nicely explained or discussed over?
another question.. what are the alternative's to this situation/mod? many thanks ![]() |

Cutting a small hole in your case is the easiest alternative...

cut female end of extension cord
buy pump relay/outlet in a box assembled from me (doesn't take up a PCI slot) buy 12v pump (though it sounds like you already have a 1250) |

![]() ![]() There you can see my criticool relay, don't worry about the temp monitor.. this pic was taken upon a tec install. For the us folks looking at the card as you are in that picture above. It's black/green/white. You just need to strip the cord and then the wires and then plug them all in to the appropriate spaces. For international ones I believe it's Brown/Green-Yellow Stripe/Blue |
