Default Recommend me a radiator.

I'm searching for a radiator. Right now I have chosen the Black Ice Extreme but I won't some other opinions.
For now I'll be watercooling only the CPU. My CPU can be overclocked @ 3,9G @ default voltage 1,55v with aircooling, but I want more and that's why I have chosen to go with watercooling.
The block I will use is the Swiftech 6002 1/2", the pump is again Swiftech MCP650 1/2" and the only part that I'm wondering is the raddy, so please recommend to me a radiator.
I'll use 100CFM fans on the radiatorwith puch/pull configuration (I don't care about the noise).
Later I might add a GPU and Chipset block ... but If I add them I might buy another radiator .. or I don't know ... maye I should buy bigger radiator now.
Thank you in advance.

Dunno about the price and availability where you live but..

If you dont mind fabricating a shroud (fairly easy actually) out of re-enforced cardboard (like the type used for checker/chess boards), 26 gauge steel (requires some tools for cutting/bending), or Acrlic (I suggest the 1/4" thickness for stability) then I would look around at what car heater cores can easily be modded for your purposes. They tend to run cheaper than rads and due to cooling fin area actually perform better. They are also generally more restrictive to airflow but with the right fans do a dang good job.

You might check for an American Pontiac Parts dealer in your area that carries the heater core for a 1977 Bonneville. The heater core is a 'double' in that it will easily handle 2 120mm fans and is very easy to mod. Visually check the heater core before you buy it if possible. It should have two round tubes (inlet and outlet) that have about a 45 degree bend in them. You can simply cut those tubes off before the bend (leaving as much straight tubing as possible) and then smooth the cut ends. 1/2" ID tubing will slip right onto these and with a couple clamps it shouldnt leak at all.

Here in the US most auto parts stores carry this HC for about $18US. Even allowing for the various taxes etc it should remain a fairly inexpensive option with great performance. If you go with a push/pull config it will handle 4 120mm fans as well. Thats pushing some serious air

The pics flatline posted look remarkably like the HC I am talking about.

If you will be adding those blocks later on I would definitely go for a better performing radiator/heater core. At the very least I would sincerely consider adding another to share the load.

i believe you can probably count the pontiac dealers in the UK on the fingers of one foot... difficult/slow/expensive to get US car parts here

i'd be surprised if bulgaria was much better.....

Well....

Postal rates for a 5 lb package sent via the US Postal Service via air mail to Bulgaria are right at $20. Many online suppliers are willing to ship overseas with a small surcharge of around $5. That brings the heater core to ballpark $50US which is about half a British Thermochill 120.2 (which would be my second suggestion.

Its certainly doable. Most watercooling parts here in the use come via the mail. Even with import duties the overall price shouldnt be quite as bad as the Thermochill lines.

The downside is that it probably will be a fairly long delay in getting the HC there.

At current rates the ThermoChill runs around 50 British pounds while the '77 Bonne runs about $27.

Unless there is a decent domestic source its pretty much going to boil down to a wait time and just how much the duty will be.

Viper - there must be radiator shops in Bulgaria - yes? Go to one of those and tell the folks what you are looking for. there may be something, relatively inexpensive, for a car that's common where you are. They may also be able to make you what they want.

There are shops in my Country but the prices of one heatercore is almost the same as Black Ice for example so I prefer to buy complete radiator and just mount it in my case.
