Default BI Extreme Hose Barbs

Hey all,

Finally received my BIX (originally ordered a BI-prime, but got lost in the mail, so lucky me, six months later ), just a question on the hose barbs -

Measured them relatively precisely and they appear to be 0.375" OD - correct me if I am wrong but that is for 3/8" ID tubing...my system is 1/2" ID, I was under the impression that all BIX's were 1/2" OD. Any ideas?

yeah, that is a 3/8 one. Looks like you got unlucky, did you ask chip at any point about 1/2?

Well, the first time I ordered a 1/2" + LPD mod Black Ice Prime, but that never arrived, probably got lost in the mail or something.

So I contacted Chip and asked if he'd resend the package, this time with the equivalent model BIX (retailing for the same price now), and he said sure no problem and dispatched the package again. I'm pretty sure

Argh!!!!!!! I thought ALL BIX's shipped with 1/2" OD barbs as standard.

You sure they don't ship with barbs for 1/2" OD tubing... that would be 3.8" ID tube
