Default alternate compact tower ideas?

i have been toying with this double loop idea where the actual bong loop can fail and i won't have to worry... so the double loop is staying.. i just want a more compact implimentation.
I was thinking of maybe turning the tower into some sort of stairs or something. this would slow the water down, and allow me to make a much smaller tower with the same water to air contact time. however all the water would just be on one side of the bong due to gravity, whereas in a vertical tower the water runs down all sides.

any ideas?

here is the sketch behind my desing, just need to find a way to reduce size.

on the left in the tank is a float to turn off the pump when the water gets too low... it may also alter the fan speed to compensate for the loss of cooling power.
yes i understand that this is not the most efficient way to go about the bong idea, but it has low maintenance and low risk. my debate is how to reduce size of the tower.

i should note... that i would LOVE to get this to fit into a case...
i have a YY cube that just might be able to hold all this with a few extra vent holes.

obviously alot of cutom tank work would need to happen... but i dont have alot of components to put in my case.. so that leaves plenty of room to do what i want

id love to make a bong cooler, you get such power in such a small space, but i still cant really justify the amount of water needed to keep it running for a decent amount of time without having to refill it. (im thinking a week) and still have the PC lan friendly, i guess i one could just take an empty bong resevior to the lan, and then fill it there hehe. (just a container with 2 pipes coming out of it would do.)

ive decided to go to the effort of building a high surface area radiator rather.
