Default Anyone have experience w/ Logitech Webcams?

I don't know how to mount this to an LCD screen. Supposedly they are supposed to come w/ hardware to do so. All I see is the standard base. Is there supposed to be another thing that comes w/ it? What does it look like?

not sure if we have the same one but I have a QuickCam Pro or something like that, the one with the mounted base that says QuickCam on it (not just eyeball with holder). This one has a spring loaded thing.. if you pull back the blue bottom of the base it opens a small area where you could stick the top of a laptop screen.

I have the Quickcam Pro 3000. It's in this pic: http://www.logitech.com/lang/global/...ductov2160.gif . Is that the one you have? What do you mean the base slides off? Mine has this ball-like camera thing and the detachable base.

no thats not the one I have. Mine has a solid base and no lights or anything on the camera. try pushing the base around, there may be two parts that are spring loaded.

other than that, duct tape!

Haha I would never duct tape anything to my beautiful $1k+ SGI monitor . I'll find an LCD mount sometime. Until then, it sits well on the shelf behind the screen.
