Internet Controlled by the UN?

http://www.dslreports.com/shownews/60944?cat=141383

WTF? The UN can't control itself let alone the internet. For some reason I can't understand everywhere but the USA seems to dislike the price of a domain names? They seem pissed off at the US because ICANN is in charge of the net and raised domain names a bit? Not like the USA dosn't get effected by the samething.

Is the UN even remotely capable of handling the internet? I think not.

Few people like ICANN, even the hosting companies, and the registrars.

China is in a very poor position to make any statement, with them blocking internet access, and hacking into SSL, among others.

The last objection I saw was with how secretive their decision making process is. Last I checked, its board was up for replacement in the short future.

Secretive?

Show me another entity better prepared to handle the job?

Thats pretty ****ing funny that China is the one complaining. maybe its beacuse US investigators trace most hacking attempts and spam from that ****ing country.

US bias... no just a bias against China...
