This is the case i built for my water cooling setup:
The water cooling setup includes (G4 storm block, DD double heatercore, an Aquaextream pump and 4 X 120 m"m Sanyo Denki fans) Made of 3 "stores" - each store has an aluminum base covered with plexiglass: Top - Mobo - and detachable roof. Middle - Room for 8 HD, 3 x 5.25 bays and PSU. - behind each 80 m"m led fan there is a cage for 4 HD. Bottom - this is the inbuilt radbox with a Dangerden double heatercore, Aquaextreme pump and 4X120 m"m push pull fans. Total size of case 42x42 cm and 50 cm high. All fan run at 7-10 volts. It is quite. ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() Front panel no grillls: ![]() Bottom side view: ![]() Back of case: ![]() Middle store side view: ![]() |

Nice looking case! That looks like it took a lot of time to get right. Quiet? Good temps?

The T fitting placement is excellent. I should probably do the same to my loop. So where's the UV CCFLs? No bling rig is complete without one.

Interesting setup. I like your design. Can you give us a bit more detail on how its constructed in terms of parts/methods/etc? I'd like to use a similar arrangement if I ever get a custom case fabricated (or find the space/time to do it myself, no easy thing when you live in a city apartment), but I can see several things I'd alter if possible. I really like the idea, tho.

Do you have room on the bottom for two more 12cm fans? It looks like you might. If so consider buying one of Weapon's "mega cores" which is essentially a 4x12cm heatercore. Just a thought. Sweet rig. Great craftsmanship.
The frame appears to be aluminum "corner strips" riveted together. Correct? The paint job on the panels looks great. DIY or did you take it to a shop? |
