I am finishing up the setup of the new AMD64 test system tonight and was really stunned by the difference in noise level between the Soltek KT800Pro system and my DFI NF4 box. The Soltek just runs the AMD retail hs/fan full speed while the DFI will power the fan down or PWM it to keep the box running quietly. I am not really up on these things enough to know if most, some, or few motherboards have fan control for CPU hs/fans now. It's a pretty big feature IMO

It dosn't have any settingings in the bios? I just bought 2 Aopen AK77-600n's (socket a VIA KT600) and they got a sweet fan control on them. Can be controlled by the bios or software. I got my main rig running 1100mhz 1.5V and the CPU fan rarely spins up. CPU fan is set to turn on at 40C. When it does turn on it is at 50%. If the temps get to 45C it goes to 75% and 100% at 50C. I like it. I am suprised all 939 boards don't have some kind of fan control.
