we either need to continue the order or find a distributor in the USA. That distributor only sells in europe and even if they'll ship to USA those pumps are 300+ dollars even after a 10% discount.

sorry I havent been around much. just got back from vegas. Did anyone ever volunteer to be the buyer? Unless someone does there isnt going to be any progress. Wish I could but I don't have the cash to do that.

No buyer for them yet... Did they have any prices on the 30PI-Z-D?

The more I look at the specs, the 30PI-Z-D seems to be directly equivalent to the RD-30. And the 20PI-Z-D directly equivalent to the RD-20. 20PI-Z/30PI-Z specs, RD-20/RD-30 Specs

RD20: 15 LPM max, 8 meter, 25 watt output, 60 watt input, 3200 rpm
20PI: 16 LPM max, 8.2 meter, 30 watt output, 55 watt input, 3000 rpm

RD30: 20 LPM max, 10 meter, 45 watt output, 80 watt input, 3500 rpm
30PI: 20 LPM max, 11 meter, 45 watt output, 65 watt input, 3300 rpm

The 20PI-Z-D@24V crosses over the RD-30@18V at the 13-14LPM range. Not sure on actual heat-dump figures.

Has anyone condidered how noisy these pumps might be? I have an MCP600 which is similar in design. If it weren't for the fact that it is in a closed case and isolated by foam... I don't know I'd tolerate it.

Hell of a pump, though. The 30PI would probably work for cooling multiple systems. I'd get in on the deal but my money is going to C-Systems.

I cool 2 systems with 2 MCP600 and it does a prety good job..
then again i don't realy have much to compare it to...

Very, very similar specs indeed.

I wouldn't be surprised if they've got almost the same internal construction and performance curves.

has anyone talked to an admin or something? I'd say try to talk cathar into it, but he's probably busy enough with the storm blocks, life, etc.
If I get a chance, I could try and swing by frozenCPU and at least try to talk them into maybe even buying up some of these pumps

no guarantee on that though, its out of the way for going anywheres and i can't drive yet

FYI I've been running a 20PI @ 18V for about a yr now, it's a great pump... It's bulky though... I also had a 30PI sent to pH for his test bench... so he can give you more info on that...

On a side note, we'll be releasing new custom 12V DC version pumps soon as well

He says he'll release new custom 12V DC pumps; he didn't say they were based on the 20PI-Z-D or 30PI-Z-D because they won't be based on those.
They'll perform very good though.

I think it's time to make up our minds. Let's assume a price of $165.
Are we going to get 10+ 20PI-Z-D's or not?

Any update on this? And any way to have the pumps changed over to run off 12V DC? With the mass availability of the Storm G4, the RD-20/20PI is very desirable... Especially after Cathar said:

See I disagree with Cathar here. The RD-30 is the better pump as you CAN crank it to 35+ FT head if you have the rad for it. If not, just run it at 18v. You will never get the power out of the 20 you will with the 30, but you can easily turn the 30 down to specs of the 20 with probably less heat dump than the 20 at 24v.
