Default Emptying my Setup efficiently

good evening, I have a setup with a reservoir and i was wondering if someone has a link to, or any insight on the best possible way to empty the setup so i may put some new water in...I have tried in the past to just turn the pump off, unhook a hose and point it into a pitcher and have had minimal success...some water comes out but ALOT stays around the pump/res etc...any feedback would be greatly appricaited.

move the res and pump out of the case, and have it as low as possible, then just sit it in a bucket or something, and pull one hose out, almost all of it should come out.

Put a Tee connector at the lowest point of your system (if you have a reservoir, just put a fitting at the bottom side of it). The 3rd output of the Tee is connected to a long hose (~2 feet) which other end is closed by a cap. This is the flush end.
Do the same thing at the highest point of the system. This is the bleed end.

To empty: Take the flush hose closed end down below the computer and open it to flush your water is a bucket. Open the bleed tube up above the computer to let the air come in. The water should flush quite quickly.

To fill up: Keep the bleed tube open, high, and not on top of your system (water may come out of it, put a small bucket under it).
Take the flush tube high up, and fill through it. Once it is full, run the pump to flush air pockets. That should fill up with minimum air pocket.

Personnaly, I have more problems filling up that flushing. This system is a bit complex, but should ease filling.

Good luck.

I remove it from my case so no drops will get anywhere near the computer itself.

he is saying PUT ONE IN! only costs less than a buck for a T. find the lowest point in your system. for instance, if you have your res/pump at the bottom, one of the hoses leading up to it, inlet or outlet, could be used. cut it in a spot, put the T in. do the same for above, so air can rush in when you are draining. this is going to be the easiest way to do it.

he doesn't mean move it permanently, but to flush the system, move it out, put in a bucket, and drain. make sure it is lower than the other components if you go this route.
