For no reason my 6 month old D4 pump starts making a whiney pitch like something is rattling inside it and then after a few minutes it goes silent again and repeats the cycle. It wasn't doing this for the 1.5 weeks I had it running prior to this when I replaced the water in the system. Is this a sign of a failing pump or could some bubbles in the system be causing this to happen? If they are bubbles, why would it start happening now and not before?
Thanks. |

just to reusethe thread, my mcp600 is behaving the same way.
still pumping strong thou. it takes from a few hours to a few days to clear all trapped air, depending on the system and position of pump and rad. Did you change them? Added anything to the water? ...maybe the bearings?

Well the pump answered the question for me. It just died about 10 minutes ago after making some ugly sounds. What sucks is I can't even get a D5 from danger den since they're out of stock. Does anyone know of another place that sells them?
