Default Dye's Impact on Water Cooling

Anyone have any idea on the cooling impact of adding this dye (or similar) to your water? Would it lessen the effectiveness dramatically? I think it will have a minimal impact.

It won't affect performance but there have been thoughts that it gunks up the system and/or causes corrosion and/or breaks down pump seels. There was another thread on this here testing if it did do anything, not sure what the results were though.

Ahhh, I should search before I post

Looks good. I will give it a try when all the components get here. I am also switching over to pump->rad->block at the same time.

Thanks!

Give us a shout when you decide if it is good or not. If it's good I'd like to use it for the different colors.

I'll probably post pics when the cooling system is final. Probably a few weeks. I have to wait for components and I have some travelling to slide in there as well.

My only problem with it was it stained my reservoir more than any other dye I had used before (such as food coloring). But other than that I had no problems, didn't affect temps, didn't clog anything, and my pump kept on purring.
