... and some goofy fan (imo).[/quote] Hmmmmm. It looks like the goofy fan is built to better focus the airstream - I note the contra-rotation and suspect the inner fan may be rotating faster. There may be method to their madness. |

It's not mercury (forbidden product for us), it's just made of Gallium and Indium , exactly the same as the Sapphire "metalcooling" for their videocards...

The new thermal paste melts aluminum and only works with copper and other nonreactives. But hey at least it seems to work great. I'm going to try it with heatspreaders ripped off. Procooling should do a review on this. Those liquid-metal filled syringes look appetizing... inject it into the next person who pisses you off.

Picture a ceiling fan,blowing down, above a spiral staircase. The staircase is the path the air molecules actually follow. The contra rotating fans straighten out the airflow so that, in the above example, the air blows straight down. In an aircraft it helps a lot to have the thrust going strait back. I suppose this will help in ducted fan situations: (shorter path = less resistance = higher flow) And to get cooler air to the bottem of the fins on certain heatsinks. (depends on design) The pics seem to indicate that this design's advantage is that the airflow is directed towards the centre, eliminating the dead spot?? Love to see a review. Interesting links! ![]() |

I'm waiting for some actual review of that fan, thinking it occupies too much space for benefits , if any.

Cloning? I've never seen a pump like that. Says it's the smallest pc water cooling pump and it is made for notebooks. I couldn't find any info or a website for SEPA.

Characteristics of the pump :
-12VDC pump -42x42x19mm -maximum flow rate of 760ml/min = 45.6 L/h (on their website there's evidently a mistake, they wrote 760mL/h ![]() -max pressure of 110 cmH2O -> http://www.sepa-europe.com/news.php |

error? assuming it is (then the ddc comes to mind, hence "cloning"
![]() wondering if it actually is, could be electro-osmosis based
