Default Replacement for a Maze4 CPU block?

Hi Guys,

I currently run an AXP based system with a Maze4 CPU block. The choice to us this block was based on its low flow resistance / lack of restriction to the loop.

The loop consists of HDD/CPU/GPU/NB water blocks and a 20meter copper coil passive radiator all run from a single CSP MAG previously a CSP MKII.

I am now converting my system to an A64 939 setup keeping all the same blocks except the CPU block and would like a suitable replacement? Any suggestions?

Thanks

Unlikely on here. S'a rebadged European Obscurity made by These Guys.

Easiest solution - get a replacement A64 top for your current block. Otherwise, DangerDen TDX or RBX, Swiftech Storm or Apogee or MCW6000/6002 series, CoolTechnica MP05-SP, Alphacool Nexxos XP... all blocks with an established (other than Apogee) and tested reputation rather than relatively unknown cheapness.

With a single Mag and multiple blocks, MCW6000/6002 or Apogee would likely be a good choice, as doubt flowrates would be spectacular in your loop... Otherwise, upgrade to D5 pump and a Swiftech Storm imo.

Really depends what exactly the other blocks on the loop are, what fitting size, and how restrictive they are.

Thank you for your reply, XSPC was a new one on me ...

I have been looking for an Swiftech Apogee in the UK but can't find one anywhere, or a replacement top for my Maze4 which was my first thought! Any suggestions as to where I could purchase either of these??

DangerDen will ship replacement tops direct to you (www.dangerden.com)

Storm - http://www.scan.co.uk/Products/Produ...oductID=245168
Won't find Apogee on UK sites yet. First to stock them will be scan (above) and overclockers(.co.uk) as they're the main UK resellers. If they don't have em yet, then no-one else will either. Relatively new product - gotta wait for resellers to run lower on other product lines to make the order worth it (more they order at once, better pricebreak they get, cheaper they can sell item for).

Alternatively, just order from a US site - shipping on a waterblock in USD will probably work out same as regional shipping here in GBP.

Thanks for you help, I have emailed DD for info on the replacement top and overclockers on the availability of the Apogee as we'll as a few US dealers about shipping costs so we will see what comes back from that

Thanks again.

EDIT: Have just found the Apogee (Must be blind as it was on Overclockers) and ordered it
