www.amdmb.com going down hill!!!

[RANT]
The more members they get the worst the overall intelegance level becomes. I see so many absolute BS posts made and other newbs eating it up and spreading it like wildfire it is makes me sick!!! Hardly anything over there anymore is worth reading. Mostly a bunch of non sense from kids that have never used what they are talking about and going by info they got from other idiots.

I was there from almost the begining and it was more like this place with intelegant people and with great ideas and concepts. Now it is spread the BS while you can to get noticed and up the post count.

I need to get away from there!!! I hope this place dosn't fill up with newbs that don't have a clue what they are doing/talking about. Then you would have to change it to newbcooling.com!!![/RANT]

I always liked their forums, but as a general trend though I've noticed all the big sites have more and more stupid people in there.

It is just like the AOL chat deal. When it first started it was great. Decent people and decent conversations, but every month more and more kids would get on there and spam the hell out of it making it worthless, it is just like [H]forums, anandtech, and now amdmb is is gettin it. To bad.

It happens man, I tend to call it "Information Incest", or "Information Inbreeding" when a stupid/and or wrong idea is sprerad on a forum by some newbie then EVERYONE there takes it as gospel and even though it is wrong thye will argue it is right untill they are blue in the face. It is childish and sad, but then again it reflects the current state of the large site forums I suppose.

Yeah. One or two guys in the IWill forum had a lot do w/ the making of the XP333-R and I really think that gave it a huge increase in general traffic. Hell, I'm part of the problem. I went there for XP333-R info and my posts creeped into other parts of the boards as well. That place is huge.

One thing that I REALLY like about home sweet home here is that I haven't seen any flame arguments in a while... if ever. All arguments and debates seem to be very respectful toward other opinions and rather intelligent. If someone seems to be disrespectful and dumb, we'll get them outa here Of course all joking in good and bad taste is welcome here though

I have got in a few disagrement's but I usually still respect the other opinion as it is usually a good one around here even if I think it is not right.

The hard drive water cooler was my last one, but I think it was a good discussion more than an argument. I am just impressed by the peoples skills and use of them around here. amdmb seems to lack that big time anymore. And forget about water cooling there. No one seems to care much about it.

I got over 4,600 posts at amdmb and have been there over a year now, but it is losing it's original luster. Lot of good people have stopped posting there aswell which is to bad. there used to be a lot more talented people there.
