Default Watercooling Progress

Well I crammed my water cooling setup into my Lian-Li PC60 along with 4 hard drives, 2 cd-drives, a digidoc 5, a video card and network card. It is a tight squeeze. Too tight. So I did the only thing that a certified hardware guy can do. I bought a Lian-Li PC70. Until it arrives, here are some pics of the current setup.

More pictures can be found here.

It is the adonized version of the block found on this page . Not a bad block, but it too will eventually be replaced...

Maybe they ditched it. That hold down clamp was on there though at least.

nice looking setup you've got there. And any hardware geek wouldn't do that anyway. They'd make the system in the PC060 a secondary system, and buy all new stuff for the PC-70

Well, I have such a high rate of "component churn" that by the time I have everything in the box, it may transform from a XP1800 based system to a Northwood based system.

Stick with the XP2000+ and save yourself some cash. The XP2200+ on the .13 should be out in awhile. That will put a whoopass on the Northwood again. Hold off for a while I would say.

Ohhh, but it is soo hard. Neeeeed 2.5GHZ. I may settle for a faster vid card when the Geforce4 TIs ship (and support linux).
