Argh!! I went out and bought some nice grills for my 120MM monster ass deltas for the rads I'm using, but now I see that DangerDen recommends suck instead of blow on their radiators.. (the grills look utterly stupid with the grills on the side with the plastic holders which hold the fan motor, they look positively SEKSI!! on the other side though..) Which do you guys think is better for the Super Cube, and the old cooling cube? How about on the 70's heatercore from the Caprice?

I doubt you'd see more than a 2C differance whatever the fan was doing

theoretically sucking is better because it should help reduce dead zones a little bit and also thermal transfer from a solid (rad) to a fluid (air) is improved with lower pressure, if you blow then the air pressure in the rad is a tiny bit higher than if you suck.
in practice though it probaly depends more on the radiator design, just try both and see if you can stick with your "SEKS!" version without loosing out on to much. slop |

Alright thanks, do you think I should raise the fan off the actual Rad to remove deadzones? (like with a shroud)

raise it about an inch or two, and make sure that your duct is fairly airtight, no point letting all the air go out the sides
