Default funky KG7

i have an unmodified ABIT KG7 labeled rev1.0 that:

1) Has native (i did not solder anything) XP Diode support for my Morgan 1.1Ghz CPU -- no one else has this
2) Has voltage regulator issues... when anything but 1.75v is selected in BIOS under any circumstances it is incredibly unstable.

Any ideas? -- Or is this just a mixed blessing?

maybe your morgan doesn't like differant voltages, or your psu isn't powerful enough. What is your 5v line like at load and idle?

its an Antec 400w... i dont think that that is the problem 5v is like 4.9 always (load & idle)

as far as the CPU goes... i will grab my duron 750 (known can handle 1.9v) and see how it does... but i dont think that its the CPU

I have the same board, and mine doesn't have any problems... But I have a 1.4 Tbird in it. @1.65 with .25 voltage raise

It doesn't support the onboard XP diode... It has it's own diode below the chip.

Other than that, yeah I believe you.
