i have a 1.33 axia k cpu oc and watercooled using a maze2, heatercore from a geo metro, 120mm fan on the rad, danner mag5 and a 4x4x4 marine junction box for a res. i am using 1/2 fittings all around and reinforced 1/2" pvc tubing.
according to MBM5.08 i am getting 111f at full load with the cpu oced to 1.531. the mobo is a msi k7t266 pro raid. i am using the raid also. i know that some chips oc better than others and i have read that alot of people are getting higher oc's with lower temps. i have also read where boards using raid can not go as high due to the raid bus locking up eariler. any way my main question is: is 111F at full load to hot? the maze2 is cool to the touch as well.

ambient temp is around 78F - 82F.
btw... i ran a guage on the maze2 when i got it and it was very flat. i did not lap it. do you think i should? idle temp is 105F and case temps according to mbm5 is 103F

It's milled very well. I lapped mine and it sanded in a dead even pattern (the only reason I did lap it was to achieve a mirror finish!)

That temp seems kind of high, but not a dangerous temp by any standards...... and btw the axia k is supposed to be the best overclocking core out there, and very rare..... i envy you!

I have the same chip, except mine is the Y series. I'm overclocking to 1.52. I'm using a Big Moma rad, an older BE Cool water block, and a cheap submerssible pond pump. Everything has 3/8 inch fittings. I'm running a Abit KT7A-Raid. My temps run between 100-104 degrees.
I agree that your temps seem a bit high, though they don't sound dangerous. ![]()
