Which would be better to run? I got some anti freeze but I could just as easily spend a little money and get me some at a local auto place.. whats the main difference and does it matter if either one is used?

Water Wetter actually improves the cooling efficiency of water by eliminating some surface tension. It also provides some corrosion resistance.
Glycol antifreeze will always worsen cooling efficiency, but if you have a mixed metal system, I wouldn't trust just water wetter.
