Default Black Ice update

Ok guys here's an update on BI Radiators...

We received them today, and did the inventory checking etc.
So we will start shipping them tomorrow... starting with the first one in the que... There're lot of pre-orders so this doesn't mean that your BI is going to be shipped tomorrow...

Also we are going to inegrate real time inventory tracking to Cooltechnica.com at the weekend...

I'm doing my best to answer all your e-mails, but as you can imagine working on the orders at the same tiime... So no hard feelings if I couldn't personally answer your e-mails...

Oh and one more thing Eheim 1250s are due in beginning of next week (probably on 17th)...

Take care,

Bruce

What I can think of the revised BI will look like would be basically a BIX but keeping the BI prime thickness 25mm instead of the BIX's 43mm.
Before on the BI prime original it is a 4 pass on the 3 "channels" (those straight things where the water runs through between the fins, whatever they're called) while the BIX is a 2 pass on 6 "channels".
My guess would be they changed the design on the BI prime so it is the same as the BIX so it's running as 2 pass on those 6 "channels" instead.
So, basically the revised BI prime, now called BI pro i think, is now just a thinner version of the BIX.
I think the changes is just for the BI prime, no new new changes is done to the BIX, because the hwlabs site never mentioned they are changing anything to the BIX.
My guess is they would probably do it to the BI2 as well soon, but I wouldn't mind a BIX2 if they ever thought of it. Now that would rock arse!

the BI pro should be a "1/2 layer" BIX. The BIX is 2 passes with 2 rows of tubes, the BI Prime is 4 passes with one row of tubes. I believe the BI Pro will be 2 pass with one layer of tubes. I am eager to see some performance figures soon.
