I'm thinking of useing a pelt to to cool my Duron 950 when I overclock it. The watts it puts out are 38 standard, 50 minimum o/c, and 70 maximum o/c. There are two pelts I'm looking at, one is danger den's 120W;
Imax= 7.9 amps Qmax= 120 watss Vmax= 24.6 volts Delta Tmax= 69 (C) $31.00 and two is BeCooling's 156W; 18.5 amps 156 watts 15.8 volts Delta Tmax= 68 (C) $29.99 Right now I have a 235W ATX powersupply sitting here, so can I use that, maybe with some mods, or will I have to buy a new one? I'll be heading to surplus store to see what they got too. If I go ahead with this I may have questions on insulating also. My waterblock is homemade if it matters. Any other suggestions are welcomed. |
