So far I've decided to go with a kit from Danger Den. I'm going to pick up a kit for a P4 as soon as the MAZE3 becomes available. I just have a few quick questions though.

Which size fittings/tubing should I get? 3/8 or 1/2?
Which rad should I get?
Are there any good sites out there with a detailed how-to on integrating your WC setup into your case?
Thanks in advance for any and all help. ![]()

if you really wana know what to get.
get a heatercore from your local autoparts store $20 get the 6x6x2 i think it is. you can run 3/8s tubing w/ 1/2 fittings alot of people are doing that now days (only silicon will do it). and a pump you should get a eheim. |

The heatercore rad @ DD is the same thing im talking about but if you wana buy it with fittings and everything on you can just get it from them otherwise itll be about $20+ hose barbs or whatever for a heatercore from local autoparts store.
its easy to put fans on what i did was took a peice of wood jbed some elbows on it w/ holes (on the heatercore) and then screwed it to the peice of 3/4" particle board. and then drilled a hole for the fan and screwed the fan into that. but ive got the double size rad for 2 120s. would be just as easy with the one for 1 120 also |

the heater core in question is the Chevy Chevette heater core; any year from '76 to '84 will do; they are all the same. if you dont have the tools needed to mod them however (the standard inlet is 3/4 inch, and the outlet is 5/8 inch. you'll have to cut those fittings off, and solder new ones on), it would probably be better to just get the DDen heater core.
as for the pump, you can save yourself some cash (since the ehiem pumps are relatively expensive) and get a Danner Supreme mag-drive pump from petsmart. both are good, but you'll have to seal the Danner pump as it could leak from the housing if used in-line (a $2 tube of Permatex waterpump housing RTV silicone will do; available at any auto-parts store). its your call... 1/2 inch fittings are less restricting; you may as well get em. you can find good articles at Procooling (thats this site d0h) if you look; Overclockers also has some good ones to check out.
