ok, i'm just wondering what you guys think of this setup:

an eheim 1048 (158 gph) pump, maze 3 (supposed to be up on danger den's site today, friday), and black ice extreme radiator.

i know the black ice is a little pricy, but i need a small radiator to fit inside my pc-60 lian li.

ok, so for now that would be cooling an 800 t-bird oc'd to 980 at 1.85 v. i'm pretty sure it will do fine for that. but in a couple months i'll be moving to an athlon XP system. do you think it will scale well enough to cool a 2100+ Athlon XP processor well enough?

also, i would like to put in a small reservoir, just not sure exactly where i should put it. any ideas on that? here's what i'm thinking so far:

You know the blackice has a shroud built in, right? Looks good, should be a great performing setup.

I'm sure it'd handle a 2100+ athlon just fine, and just about any processor that will be made for quite sometime

yeah i know it has a shroud, i already have one, but it's for a 120 mm fan, i'm planning on porting the 2 80 mm fans in the front of mi lian li case to it.

thanks for the replies, but what about a reservoir? is there a small one that i could fit in there somewhere?

now c i asked if the bix had a shroud built in before and everybody said i wuz mistaken....im sittin here lookin at mine and i c probably a 1/4 inch gap between where the fan would go and where the fins start..i always thought people said the best shroud had the fan 1 inch of the fins.....

btw dont forget for best preformece with that bix u will want +100cfm going threw it

i'm not too worried about having the BEST performance, i just want a nice looking, stealth (for the most part), system that will give me decent temps and scale decently for a couple years.
