Hello
1) With the black ice radiators, even though the mounting holes are aligned with 120mm fan mounting holes, what's the best way to attach a fan to a black ice? I plan to sandwich the black ice (original) between two 120mm, should I have threaded rods run through the radiator fins? I guess what I'd like to know is how you guys are mouting your black ice, what size bolts/screws and whatnot 2) Can the eheim pumps be mounted in any orientation? Is there any orientation that would hurt the pump or decrease flow? Can the eheims be mounted upside down? Sideways? Thanks |

just use my idea about using an old 120mm, gutting the internals, and mounting it on the BI, use it as your duct, and you can still mount a 120mm on the end of the duct, and use normal fan screws to mount it

Chaos, I looked through the holes in the black ice, and unless I'm mistaken, you probably can run a bolt thru by shifting a few copper fins around, the bolts would run between the coolant tubes.
Thanx I'll go try out that duct idea! ![]() |
