That is a pretty nice waterblock, the guy needs to shine it up and it will look really good. The channels look a little small though. I wish i was that good with cad drawings

Small channels and 180 degree turns = poor flow.

I don't care how it works, that is just cool. Very good craftsmanship!!! Way overdone on the holddown device but cool non the less.

He should have just made a sprial out of it instead though. probably would have performed much better.

I think the idea with the lid is GREAT! Probably won't ever leak. Looks very good to (dirty though =( )

i saw it this morning, it looks really cool and i do think there would be quite a bit of flow, as the channels are rather deep.

Sorry for being repeadative, but surely central inlet and two outlets would greatly enhance flow in this design. by the time the water gets to the centre it would have warmed up a bit, not to mention the tight turns in the centre.

uber cool holddown too

That hold down was pure genious.. Loved it.. And yeah, I'm with Brad, central input, and two outputs, that block would flow great. But can you actually call it a block? It's not square..

lol

yeah, thats what i thought when i looked @ it; all the tight turns could reduce flow rate (which it probably does; he says there is resistance when he blows on the inlet...)

some-1 should convince him to do a inlet / dual outlet after he runs some tests on the current version and compare them...could be interesting...

Yea that block would benifit nicely from a 1 in 2 out mod, would halve the flow restriction as well.

awsome workmanship, especially on the copper section.

I've emailed him a link to this thread, saying he needs to do this.

1/2" inlet, 3/8" outlets I think

Problem with the center inlet is he would have to come up with a new hold down device as that on puts pressure in the center of the block. But I am sure he could handle that.
