this is what i did to mount my home made block, i used springs and wingnuts. i don't use the heatsink res anymore it's evap now. http://www.geocities.com/jamestune_2000/coldstuff.html

the mount is solid looking. I still don't like the idea of having to adjust the mounts at the corners to provide pressure on the cpu. I feel that a single point directly over the core providing downwards pressure is ideal. That can be done easily with your setup too. Instead of doing it above the cpu (can't due to the hose barbs), you would do it from underneath the mb.
