12v, 8a. hmmmm, so many psu's provide like 12a on the 12v line, thats just cutting it too fine for so many people.

I'd also like to point out the 12v bilge pump thingee for this won't be an issue, as it isn't actually a bilge pump, it's just a really big 12v pump. It also doesn't look like a mag drive, and the site mentions a stainless steel shaft, This will mean seal issues over time, but it'll provide a ton of pressure. I'd like to know how reliable they are when pumping through restrictions of 1/2" tubing and waterblocks.

also I had to laugh at ''In the past with many pumps used in the water cooled PC market caustic fluids were not recommended, not true with the 1200 GPH unit. These pumps are designed for caustic fluid transfer under constant duty'' but I bet they'll still void the warrenty when they all die off and have been used with the water wetter they sell.

It needs a **** load of power, and is inline, so your case will have a ton of heat going into it. Of course if it was submersable their entire radiators wouldn't be able to handle the heat, so that mightn't be a good idea either

but it's $150!!!! You can buy a Danner 2400gph for that, or 2x 900gph Danners for that amount of money

What's the point of a 12v pump? Do DC pumps have qualities that make them inherently more desirable than AC pumps? "Convenience to plug in in a case" is utter bullshit, you're just wasting power by converting from AC to DC and reducing the voltage. Somebody that does not understand what the three wires in your socket do has no business putting together a watercooled PC. You need to start learning from basics!

Yeah, CPUFX is pretty much poo. For 35 bucks, you can get a washing machine pump that does more work than that runs on 115 volts.
Remember, friends don't let friends buy overclocker'shideout stuff

So they want you to put 96 watts into pumping fluid to remove ~70 watts from a (stock) CPU? You guys are all experienced enough to recognize this as BS, but obviously some people are buying this line. Personally, it's things like this that prompt my writing guides for newbs. Sorta doing my part to save the innocent.

Or maybe they just figured that a 1200GPH pump would help when you are putting out the fire caused by all that heat. Just hook the damned thing up to the fire hydrant down the road and your all set.
