Default pHaestus (or anyone else) got a Q for ya

i noticed you have a new chrome BIX. i just got mine from dangerden a couple days ago. it is nice and shiny, but i want to shine it up before installing it, and there is some black sticky stuff on one side of it (not alot, looks like overspray). was wondering what would be safe to clean it with. don't want to use something and have it mess it all up.

would some "Never Dull" work? used that on my chrome rims back in the day and it worked great.

Hehe.. Same here.. I think you can get it at the hardware store. Maybe even Wal-Mart.. but I'm pretty sure you can get it at a hardware store. I think I have a can of it around here somewhere.

My chrome BIX came with some orange residue (Cr(OH)3?) on it, and I used toothpaste and a wet rag to clean it. Polished it right up and took off the junk without scratching anything.

it needs to be the pasty kind, not the gel kind.
