Has anyone tried using jet-dry instead of water wetter/purple ice in their setups? From what I've heard, it has the same "wetting" effect, but it's easier to find, isn't pink, and has a better/no smell...

I havn't but I use hyper-lube super coolant which sounds simmilar. Hardly any smell and not pink. It is green.

i think jet-dry stops bacteria/algae growth (not 100% sure), does your coolant do the same?
also, looking at the varieties of jet-dry, there are choices of color: JET-DRY® Rinse Agent with Baking Soda JET-DRY® Rinse Agent with Citrus Vinegar JET-DRY® Rinse Agent Lemon Scent also wondering, how much did you know to put in and how did you measure it? |
