Default reservoirs

What exactly is the real use of a reservoir? They don't seem very necessary. In fact, I rarely seem to see them installed on your water cooling systems. Do you guys recommend using them?...why/whynot?

Two reasons.

First filling by a bleed is an agonizing process that can take hours.

Second, it bleeds in just a few minutes instead of weeks.

I use a simple PVC res inline with my Eheim via its threaded fittings, and frankly its worth it.

Third... More coolant means it takes longer for your lil cpu to heat it up thus changing your heat-up curve...

Fourth, If you develop a small leak, you have time to realize it and even more time to fix it between downtimes.
