just go to ur local hardware store.

ur looking at 2 sizes for barbs. Barb size and NPT threading size.

i am positive the magdrive pumps use 1/2" npt threading(i know it's way bigger than 1/2, more like a tad under an inch).

U say u use 1/2 id tubing as well as 3/8 id tubing.

If u flo in the following order:
==>Pump==>Rad==>Block==>
then u will need a 1/2" barbed 1/2"npt threaded barb fitting for the inlet of the pump. You will also need a 3/8" barbed 1/2" npt threaded barb for the output of the pump.

as far as increasing from 3/8" to 1/2" id tubing between ur rad and block? may i suggest a coupler from www.liquidcool.org . if u want a cheaper solution and have silicon tubing you could attempt to stretch the 3/8" id tubing coming from the rad over the 1/2 barb on the block.

Hope it helps

3/8" ID silicone tubing happily stretches over 1/2" ID barbs. They sell 1/2" to 3/8" ID adaptors at home depot too.

okay so i go to homedepot and i find the part for the inlet right away... but i couldn't find the part for the outlet... some kid about 17 give me this brass fitting that is the right size... so i bring them home and well the inlet works the outlet doesn't screw on right and water comes flying out when i turn it on..... does anyone know where else i might find what i'm looking for ?

the one that works is a nylon hose barb to nip elbow 1/2x1/2

the one that doesn't is barb to fip adapter 1/2x1/2

That fitting ur friend gave you is for compressed fittings I believe. They are tapered greatly. Will not work as you have experienced.

Just get the fitting I said from another hardware store. They have them.
