I am trying to find a 1/2 inch barb with a 1/4 male compression pipe fitting on it. I have not had much luck here at lowes or home depot. ANyone know where I can go online to find this size or is it even available?
I would like to use this size for building a waterblock since I have the drill bit and tap for 1/4 inch pipe and my pump uses 1/2 tubing as it's output size. I want to keep the flow rate as high as possible. THanks -AZ |

Based on what you describe, it sounds like you really want a 1/4 male NPT to 1/2 hose barb fitting. Whatever. I always recommend www.mcmaster.com for stuff like this. Shipping costs are never listed, but are very reasonable (standard UPS charge, not marked-up). Only real problem is that it's tough to buy single fittings. If you need 25, you'd be all set.
Anyway, from their main page pipe and tubing fittings are in the upper-left group of items. |

Cheers for the link, I've had real problems finding barbs before as well - maybe I can get some delivered to my dad's place in LA and get him to bring them back with him next time he's in the UK ![]()
