I want to watercool my radeon 9700.
Anyways I've been rethinking my watercooling, to not only lower my over temps, but to be capable of keeping my 9700 cool. Anyways I have a PC65 (mid tower), I have a Black Ice Original. I can't remember how much heat it removes. Anyways I have a 1042 eheim, 3/8" silicon tubing, witha DD Maze2. My temps are ok, at 1.85 volts and 1800Mhz, my temps normally don't go much over 43C. I was gonna go with a PC75 (fulltower) but I like how my case is more compact, and easier to carry around. So I decided to stick with it.. Here's what I was thinking of doing and any opinions would be greatly appreciated. I want to get a blackice extreme with 1/2 fittings, use with my Panaflo 120mm M1A (80cfm), cut a hole into the very top of my case, and attach the fan radiator on the inside to the top of the case. Not sure whether I want an intake or outtake there (opinions appreciated). From there the output would go to the waterblock. Thinking of a Maze3 or whichever does the best at removing heat. From there go to the blackice mini attached to the rear of my case where the 80mm usually is, have it setup to exhaust (case air would be pulled through the BI Mini, but the system needs to exhaust somewhere) From the BI Mini to my radeon 9700, from there to my pump, then to my resevoir back into my radiator. I'd be using 1/2" tygon all through out. Just wondering would this do the trick, and keep my cpu and vid card cool? I'd like to lower my temps, would be satisfied if they stayed the same though. I'm still also debating the PC75 (full tower) just so I could move alot of the stuff out of the way, and keep good case flow through my case. Thanks for any info!

Might want to go this route
Res Pump Maze3 BIX Radeon BIMini Res The reason for this setup is to the the BIX to remove the heat from the CPU. The AMD CPU generates the most heat and, therefore, needs the bigger rad. The Radeon, while still hot, should be colled enough by the BIMini. I would also recommend a stronger pump, in the 350 ~ 400 pgh range. Also, the BIMini has 3/8" connectors. This might reduce you flow quite a bit. It will, at the very less, increase the speed and pressure within the BIMini Hope this helps |

the blx should be more than enough for the whole setup, you don't need the mini. Heck i bet you can just go with the blpro.
