First post! :P
Anways, I have my system for sale. I'm going to school and looking for a more basic system. Specs: Mobo: Abit KR7A (no raid) Ram: 512 Meg DDR (1 Stick) PNY... cheap stuff... works fine though CPU: AMD XP 1600 AGIOA Y Case: Full Tower Chieftec, Black, Window (came shipped, ordered separately, I also have the panel that came with it, it's the one with the fan and the grill above the Video card, can ship that if you want it).. 420 Watt PSU that came with it CD: Sony 16x DVD CDRW: Sony 40/12/48 CDRW HD: 20 Gig Western Digital 7200 RPM Video: Leadtek Geforce 3 Original, great card. My best one so far Network: 2 Network Cards, used as server for the household. Linksy or something like not, nothing special 10/100 cards Sound: Sounblaster 16 PCI. Cheap card, sounds descent. HS: Alpha 8045 Fan: 4 Led Fan, I think its only like 32 CFM, and like 30 Db, it is damn quiet, works great though. 2 Case fans, another 4 led fan and a regular one. 4 Blue Neons in it. The dual ones or whatever, they were a Prodeal at one time, I got 4 of them, all in the corners, it is very bright and it looks tight.... my friends call it the rice burner computer... ![]() That is about it. I've used it for about 4 months, great computer. Very stable, I'm not much of an overclocker, just a gamer, so I can't tell you have fast it does run or anything. I've had it to 145 for a few days, but then turned it back down to stock. If you have any more questions you are free to email me... at eqbyff@hotmail.com (if this is illegal to post your email address, please let me know.. some sites frown at this that i've visited in the past) Not sure on the price, 700 dollars? Let me know, open to offers, if you have a cheap laptop or a little P3 desktop or soemthing to trade thats worth something let me know, maybe a promentia? (hah)... abit vp6 system would be great.... ![]() |

Errr... I can tell you have fast it is.. I meant overclocking :P
Quake 3.. High Quality... 1280/1024.. everything on.. Pull 120 FPS on the time demo. about 180 on fastest. It works great. Also I have water cooling kit for sale by Highspeedpc.com ... there innovtek kit or however it was spelled. Radiator.. the heatcore... Little ehiem pump.. 150 gph...The block and hold down kit... it has a scuff on the bottom of it, not sure how it got there.. probably had the block on too tight or something, anyways... Had it on my mom's system (same specs.. Xp1600 not overclocked on an iwill kk266r), 30C idle and 34C load. It worked great. There is some algae type stuff on it, should have used more of the water wetter, that can be cleaned off with a little bleach or something like that.. Im just too lazy. Also have a 120 MM fan for it..I paid 250 for it...I think the kit is still 230 or so. Anyone want it for 140 shipped? Thanks- |

ALso, the block isn't bad. I've remounted it a few times to see if it messed it up, but I still get the same temps... using AS2 Thanks agian.. email me with questions ![]() |

Reconsider your price if you want to sell it. I could probably build two of those for $700, if I looked hard enough. I hate to rain on your parade, but actual appraised value on that system used is probably less than $400 USD.
The problem with computer equipment is that they lose their value at a phenomenal rate, some 50%+ every six months, until it bottoms out at around 10% of the initial invested price. Sorry for the bad news. Computers are a tool, not an investment.

Keep it and use it as a backup system for your notebook you mentioned you wanted. You'll appreciate having a desktop as well as a notebook, since it is hard to work on a notebook for extended projects in your schooling (damn cramped uncomfy keyboards and eye-strain generating LCD screens combined with lower performance on average).

Abit KR7A and the 1600 agioa Y processor and the 512 mg cas2 2100 pny ram, Alpha pal 8045 with the glowing 4 blue led fan, 30 CFM, 30 db! Really Quiet
![]() Newegg has the refurb board as 40 for the board (I have the box and cd and manual laying around here, I'll have to do some digging). they sell the chips for 50 yet and the ram is 127 new, heatsink is 35 at newegg, the fan costed me 15 dollars about 2 months ago. Looks sweet. 160 takes it, I'm verified paypal. Save 100 dollars, open to offers though. Email me with questions or just post here ;P Thanks. Processor was never unlocked, I had it at 145 for a few days, and then decided to put it back to stock speeds. |

Now that is a deal. If someone bought that, they'd be doing very good.
