Default FS:Never used 120 XLR Heatercore and Scoop v.2 shroud

Hello,

Well I received my brand new 120XLR heatercore and Scoop v.2 shroud....

Thing is I knew it was going to be a tight fit but figured it would fit. Well it doesn't....

So basically I have both items. Brand new. Not a drip of water was used....they are straight out from the box. Both are black and without a scratch.

Here's the Black Scoop aluminum shroud link:

http://jpiperformance.com/scoop_twin_120.htm

Here's the 120 black XLR heatercore link:

http://jpiperformance.com/xlr120radiator.htm

Paid $67.50USD for the heatercore and $55.00USD for the Scoop shroud. That's $122.50 USD before shipping.

I'm letting both of them go for $95.00 USD and I will pay the shipping if you are in North America. So basically you get a great heatercore/shroud combo, brand new. You save $27.50 USD and the shipping which is expensive considering the weight of the items.

I'm the owner of a mod store so you can be safe on the question of purchasing. Proof? My site is http://www.lux-design.com and if you want to reach me by email please do at sales@lux-design.com

Thx.

What case did you try it with, and how wide is the case?

Reason I'm asking is I'm trying to get a idea if it would fit something I've got in mind for the future.

Thanks

Sorry...I can't use it either. But I could use an 80mm version of it. Do you know of anyone that makes an 80mm version?

I have a lian li PC75...big case at first glance ant when you look at it from the outide it should fit but there's some rails of aluminum that are at the top of this case. The case is high but not that wide. I could have started to cut all the aluminum in the way but frankly I don't want to destroy the top of this expensive case when I can get a smaller heatercore.

I really thought it would fit...kinda dissapointed because the XLR and Scoop are a killer combo that perform and look great...oh well, they'll make someone else happy

That is no small case you have there, looking at one you'd think you could fit darn near anything.

Can't be many cases that can handle that rad.

What do you mean they dont fit?

Modding is Modding. If everything just fell into place everyone would do it...

Here is a PC75 from my Modding gallery

See more of it here

Give it a try. You'll be glad you did...

Thanks, but I know that pic. That shroud is not the scoop....it's hand made. As much as I would want, I don't have the time nor the equipment to make one....otherwise I wouldn't have bought the scoop right?

I agree that's why I bought it......but a lian li is narrow. There are much larger cases out there...

That is a Scoop.

It is the V1 Scoop. That is why you see the rivets. It is the same size as the V2 that you have.

I know I have one of each.

Here is my V1

56k warning - V1 Scoop

Here is my V2 that is going in my next project.

56k Warning - V2 on my fireplace

They are the same... tuco painted his red.

email me in a week if you don't sell it.

The XLR heatercore is 10 3/4"long x 6.5" wide x 2" height

For total space, to include the Scoop (shroud) with the XLR in it, the dimensions are such that you need 10 3/4"long X 6 3/4" wide X 4 1/2" height

I dont know if it is me, but I always prefer to see radiator dimensions as follows: Heighth X Width X Depth......
