AMD Supercooling

In Project:Black Ice, Kevin said that AMD chips do not benefit from supercooling. What is meant by this? Why would supercooling not benefit the AMD's OC-ibility?

Yo! What I meant is that I took all this time and effort to supercool and insulate my CPU, and I didn't get more than a 50 mhz gain over standard heatsink cooling.
