I will be using 1/2" ID tubing and I just got my hose barbs (1/2" X 1/2"). I am wondering if I should have gotten 5/8" X 1/2".
How much will the 1/2" barbs restrict my flow? Should I be worried about it? -Bryan |

There's not enough info to tell you that.
If your effective flow rate will remain under 3 gpm (180 gph), then it'll be fine (off hand). |

Barbs on blocks are one thing you about have to live with.
Else where in a system you can often use copper tubing instead which is much less restrictive. On the front page is a article by Phaestus you can read on improving flow in systems. It's a very top shelf read on the subject. |
