Which PSU is better?

Just curious, which do you prefer, the Enermax EG465AX-VE with FCA or the Vantec Stealth 420?
I've had an Enermax for 3 years with multiple component upgrades and it has given me no problems, but its time to upgrade again and i hear vantec's is pretty good.

Vantec PSUs have better stability under load than Enermax ones. And are more silent. Actually Enermax are very average when it comes to electronics quality.

You want best PSUs ? Antec Truepower line (for noisy / multifan), Zalman or QT Tech (for silent)

After what I just went through with my own computer, I would have to agree with gmat. I went from an Enermax 550W unit to the Antec TruePower 550W and it cleared up LOTS of stability problems instantly.

a 200w AT power supply has a better chance of powering a modern computer than anything from enermax

Fortron/Sparkle (same PSUs, different fans)

300w Fortrons can out power most generic 550W PSUs. Great quality as well.
