Default Good IMAP e-mail client?

Ok I switched most of my e-mail accounts over to IMAP so that I could easily stay synched on my work, home, and notebook PCs. I have always used Outlook Express, but it doesnt allow one to add message rules and filters to IMAP accounts. I could use Outlook, but it is so slow to load and bloated that I have never used it for anything other than calendar and synching with my Palm.

Is there another good e-mail client that is lightweight and allows good message rules to be set in IMAP accounts? Or should I just add more RAM and use Outlook? Suggestions please

Do you maintain or have a Unix account on the mail server? Use procmail and setup the rules on the server.
