I tried Morphling's wonderous CPUs here and came up with a "downgraded from 2600+" response (for both). Airspirit's came up as incorrect. Dido for jtroutma. warpath's came up as a downgraded from 2700+.

I ran three of my chips through the script. Seems that one of my 1700+ chips and my 2400+ are both downgrades from a 2700+. Here are the screen captures:

It is very interesting to see the "Downgraded from" section.
However i not very confortable with those "from 2700+" . For what i've read, most of the manufacture at the time was aimed at 2400+ ( and lower , locked ) rather than a 2700+ or 2800+ . The really "good" 2400+'s got upgraded to 2700+ or more. Can anyone back this up (or not) ?.
