Just finished my water cooling system(some what, waiting for wallet to fill up to buy peltiers). Got the case open and I hear water gurgling(f*** the spelling). Is this normal. Don't want to wake up to a wet box...HeHeHe. I'm using a closed loop. What are the benefits to a resevoir vs a closed loop. Seems alot people use the resevoir setup....My system uses a magdrive pump and OCWC Poly blocks. No leaks that I can see, but can air get in the system without water showing up.

There is probably air left in your closed loop and that isn't good...

yeah, air is probly in your pump or in whatever component is highest in your system.
try turning case case upside down to dislodge the air, but it will still collect in at the highest point. do you have a T with a capped hose to collect the air?

I covered all of the benefits and downfalls to a closed loop in my article "How to fill a closed loop setup"..

Two words: Marine Junuction Box, well three. Its what a 4x4x4 res tank is. I use one, its nice, filling and draining is like butter, swing buy Ace Hardware and ask for it by name, might cost you as much as $13.00

Just put more water in there and you should be fine.

No I don't have a tee in the line. And the only place left for the pump was over my PSU. Would really suck if I got a leak there. I think I want a res tank. I'm not looking forward to sucking on a hose with Water Wetter or Liquid Cool in it. Might be able to fit The Marine Junction Box in there. Sounds like asking someome for a left handed screwdriver. I'll check it out though, on a first name basis with the helpful hardware man.
