Default direct water cooled peltier

I just came from overclockers shootout.

they made a water block with a peltier built in

Is this better than sandwiching the pelt?

think we'll see any of these being sold?

I can see how it would limit condensation by the fact that there is less cold surface area exposed to the air.

This is pretty effective as the water is touching the pelt itself, not a piece of copper touching the pelt. The only problem is that the water is often not efficiently routed over the peltier. In other words, the dangerden block has passages in it. To get the best results, you'd have to take that block, sand off the bottom, and glue it to a peltier. Then seal w/ epoxy. That could be pretty sweet!

hmm.. i once thought about that idea..
but i came back from it... surface area and is the keyword.. also u need to clamp the pelt with some force...

better get a block interface between than no surface area..

but if u really want to... UTFS! http://forums.procooling.com/ubbcgi/...c&f=2&t=000068
