Used it before and has worked out to be a very good resourse.
BUT BE CAREFUL!!! I have used pricewatch and gone to some of the places with the lowest prices and sometimes those places will; A) try and rip you off by claiming a low prince on PriceWatch and then not giving you that price, B) claim that you have to purchase something else to get the special price, C) have the crappiest service you could possibly imagine and then not be able to cancel the order that they screwed up on. My advise: when you use PriceWatch, NEVER use the lowest price listed place (exception = Newegg.com, GoogleGear.com, etc) but choose a place that is like 3rd or 4th on the list. (It may be a bit mre expensive, but my experience has taught me that those places tend to have better service.

Hello All, Well chock up one more vote for Pricewatch + Re-Sellers Ratings. Theres way too many shysters out there. Personal Favorites are in no particular order. Newegg, ExcaliburPC, Heatsinkfactory, Directron, Googlegear, Ajump

I should throw into the mix that if you are looking for software deals, go to DirectDeals.com. I have picked up killer deals on AntiVirus and OS CDs there.
Of course, this is for those people who acutally BUY their software :P

Much good advice, I agree with it all. But like Mark Larson said it's a good idea to check reseller rateing as well first, if they have good strong reports at reseller then go for it, but if bad ones it isn't worth the hasseles you'll get.
".....for those who buy their soft ware." LOL, many do or at least most of it. ![]() |
