I want to run 2 550w antec truepower units in series for 24v I know the housings can't touch right and that they can't share a wall ground. does this mean I should just break off the power cords bottom prong the ground one?? any help would be awsome

Don't think this will be of any help but if you want small currents of 24V, you could wire the -ve to the -12V and the + to the +12V. You only need I PSU but only feasable for 1 or 2 fans. I think that you'll want to power a TEC with 2x 550PSUs. If that's the case then disregard what I said.

No Hara: you can't do that: the -12v line has a very low power rating.
qwerty57: you should read OnDa's article. You'll need a voltmeter to double check everything. |
