Default Score!

In the vast computer wasteland known as San Antonio, Tx, where anything more exotic than a 20gb hard drive virtually unheard of, I have foundan automotive shop that has TWO bottles of Purple Ice! Until now, I had yet to find a *local* source for ANY of the recommended (or popular) additives used in a watercooled PC.

I think that using Purple Ice will pull my watercooling adventure into the realm of understandability where my wife is concerned because her favorite color is purple (at least that's the argument that I'm going to use).

"Yeah honey, I know I spent a lot of money, but look at the tubes! They're full of purple water, and that's your favorite color!"

The hardest part of any project is justifying it to the wife, unless you are blessed enough to have a geekwife ... though there are downsides to that as well (like their 500 piece Ninja Turtle collection, for instance).

I just wanted one that could cook and do dishes ... I didn't get either.

My wife told me I could buy anything I wanted as long as I keep it in the category of "reasonable". (I was just trying to be funny - grin).

Dido, lol!

In my case, I quickly came to the realization that for every dollar I spend on it, I'll have to spend the same amount on her.

Nice find JS. Which store carries it?

A little shop called Street Strip Performance. None of the "mainstream" auto parts stores carries anything more exotic than Rain-X.
