Default Help on water block...

Hi, I'm new or you can say not even in to water cooling yet...

Well I'm planning to get a set of water cooling and couldn't make a decision on a waterblock.
The interior of the water block is as the picture I attach.

Could you pros give some comments on it? Thanks

Depends on the price they want for it. It's certainly not one of the best IMO

I would think a drilled channel block would perform better than that. As you would have more surface area overtop the cpu.

The channel looks quite narrow and restrictive...if the entire channel size was the size of the outside channel it would most likely be a decent performer.

if you have at you own disposition a drill press and some patience, you could make a much better block. find something here on the #rotor blocks. they are quite easy to do and good perform quite well. Then say thanks to Rotor

I was going to get this "kit" until I decided to go DIY for more performance headroom. I wasn't impressed with the tubing diameter. How would ya like a link?

hey, that block.... well not "THAT" one.

lets just say, its a good perfoming block "www.dtekcustoms.com"

Trust me, I know. Now granted that spir@l design has been out for a few years, I would almost challenge you top find a better TEC block.

Ohh how I love the Spir@l Blocks!

Swiftech also makes affordable blocks. You could look into that.
