Someone should attempt direct die with some chilled water. Get it close to freezing. It would be a bit insane. umm, nm........ I prolly wouldnt try it myself.
But I like the direct die coolings done so far. Some of the athlon ones are pretty complex. The new AMD 64bits should have a heatspreader similar to the p4 that will allow for good direct die attempts. I have a few small fractures on my athlon 1.2 right now. Think it is the reason why prime95 fails are a few attempts. Everything else runs fine. I have folding at 100% load while oced at 1.333 and it holds stable for days at a time. Water cooled. Anyones had thoughts on planning some nice 64bit cooling systems? Cant wait for the desktop parts to ship. Should have the money to upgrade by then, realisticaly. Anyone heard of the athlon64 release dates yet? Hopefully they hit when doom3-HL2 come out. I read something, saying that the 64bit chips can handle 18 billion gigabytes of ram is they could find a way to implement it. I suppose in about 10 years down the road, which we will still be using the 64bit chips, we will have alot of ram. Terabyte or something. Goddamn.............. By then the games will really distort your reality. What is everybodys views on the new games coming out this year, the 64bit chips, and the long future they will have. Look at the length of time 32bit chips have come about and evolved.

I was also wondering, has anyone liquid cooled there home stereo or anything? Dont audiophiles always look for a really cool area for there equipment. It keeps the power higher and such.
Custom blocks for a home stereo would be great. They do have some high end shops around here. But still dont have any real high end computer stores in Fargo, ND.
