Looks like a $69.00 POS. I can give you a POS for free! It maybe expensive to ship though. Those hazordous material laws are getting stiff these days.

I guess the side pieces are for using the P4 retention mechanism. Not a very elegant solution though.

Now that I have some time. Why I think the block is a POS.

1) The channels are not milled into the copper base making all the milled out surface areas near useless being the heat isn't going to transfer well to the AL especially being it is anodized.

2) The channel design is kinda dumb. Why would you merge the water from 2 sides into one and then split again? Sever excessive flow restriction for a loss in performance.

3) Way, way, way over priced.

Also those monster blocks on the side are made of Delrin Plastic. Which isn't a bad thing really. I use the stuff at work sometimes. Very strong stuff.

More info: http://www.comservercom.com/product1.htm

And the home page of the manufacturer. Notice the [H] case on the front page. Already lost points for that! http://www.comservercom.com/

I agree.

It's far from being a "High Quality" waterblock. there may be a lot of nice finishing touches in the assembly, but the design is very basic, and not efficient.

The 4.8 mm thick baseplate really gives us an idea of what to expect, compared to White Water's "less than 1.0 mm". Maybe it's unfair to compare it on the baseplate, but I figure (innocently hopeful?) that they tried various thicknesses, and optimized on 3/16" (4.8 mm).

The entrance could be jetted, and they could get rid of the outer ring. The channels really have to be part of the baseplate, not the top.
