My take on devices like these is that they're not worth the space they occupy IMO with water cooling or even peltier cooling.
This doesn't apply to phase change cooling.

In short, no.
![]() It's especially true with watercooling: the temp fluctuations can be handled by the block, and should remain gentle, to reduce thermal stress. |

Depends if your CPU will start up at room temp and higher at it's overclock I spose :shrug: . Some of the people who get serious -20(or less!) temps when running probably need the CPU at -0 to get it running. Extreme peltier and evap cooling maybe, I don't know for sure though...

Just so its known, i'm not interested inpurchasing this. I agree that it's pointless to use. I just wanted to see what a larger audience thought about it.
